Toyota has announced that its latest model, the 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander, will be hitting dealerships in the summer of 2023.
The Grand Highlander is an upgrade to the popular Toyota Highlander SUV model and promises to deliver a host of new features and improvements.
The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander offers three exciting powerplant options for customers to choose from.

They include a gas 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged 16-valve D-4S injection engine with Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) and Stop and Start Engine System that delivers 265 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 310 lb-ft of torque at 1700-3600 rpm.
The second is what the company calls Hybrid Max powertrain, consisting a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder turbo Hybrid MAX 16-valve D-4S injection engine with Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i). The Hybrid Max makes 362 net combined horsepower at 6000 rpm and 400 lb-ft of torque at 2000-3000 rpm.
The next and least powerful mill is a hybrid powertrain, consisting a 2.5-liter L4HV Double Overhead Cam (DOHC) 16-valve D-4S injection engine producing 245 combined net horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm.
In addition to the upgraded engine, the Grand Highlander will come with a range of advanced safety features including Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+, which includes features such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking.
The interior of the Grand Highlander features a larger infotainment screen and a new digital rearview mirror. Compared to the Toyota Highlander, the Grand Highlander offers more advanced features and a more powerful engine.

The Grand Highlander also has a higher starting price, with the base model starting at $43,000 compared to the Highlander's $34,910 starting price. However, the Grand Highlander justifies its higher price tag with its improved performance and advanced features.
