Coming To A Dealership Near You This Summer: The Top-Of-The-Line Rubicon 392 Model Is Propeled By A 6.4-liter V8

Jeep has given its legendary Wrangler off-roader a facelift for the 2024 model year. The updated version boasts a new design for the iconic seven-slot grille, a 12.3-inch touchscreen as standard, and an extended lineup for the plug-in hybrid 4xe. 

The company has also announced the pricing for the 2024 Wrangler models. The base two-door Sport model starts at $33,690 (about ₦15.6 million, using the current official exchange rate), while the premium range-topping four-door Rubicon 392 model costs $89,390 (around ₦41.5 million) and comes with a powerful 470-hp 6.4-liter V-8 engine.

For an additional $3,500 (₦1.6 million), the Sport model can be upgraded to the Sport S, which includes features like adaptive cruise control, keyless entry, power windows, and door locks. 

The next level up is the Willys, which is designed for off-road use and comes with a rear-locking differential, 33-inch all-terrain tires, and LED headlamps and fog lights.

The Willys model costs $41,190 (₦19.1 million). The Rubicon and Rubicon X models are at the top of the range, starting at $47,190 (₦21.9 million) and $56,690 (₦26.3 million), respectively.

The Jeep Wrangler's off-road capabilities are taken to the next level with the Rubicon model, which includes a Dana full-float rear axle, electronic front sway-bar disconnect, part-time transfer case, and front and rear locking differentials. 

The Rubicon X model offers additional comfort features such as 12-way power-adjustable front seats wrapped in Nappa leather, blind-spot monitoring, and heated steering wheel and seats. 

All models, including the Sport and Rubicon X, come with a 285-hp 3.6-liter V6 engine as standard, but buyers have the option to upgrade to a 270-hp turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces 35 more pound-feet of torque than the V6. 

For an additional $4,000 (₦1.8 million), each of the above-mentioned trims can be purchased with four doors. However, there are also two exclusive trims available with the four doors. 

The Sahara trim level is priced at $49,620 (₦23 million) and is situated between the Willys and Rubicon trims.

The Rubicon 392, equipped with a powerful engine, is the top-of-the-line model. The Jeep Wrangler Sahara is only available with a non-hybrid powertrain option, the 2.0-liter inline-four engine. 

The Sahara model includes features such as LED lights, proximity key entry with remote start, and heated steering wheel and seats. 

Jeep has expanded the availability of the plug-in hybrid 4xe powertrain to more trim levels for the 2024 model year. The Sport S is the new base PHEV model, priced at $51,790 (around ₦24 million). 

The Willys and Sahara trims are the next two levels, priced at $56,530 (around ₦26.2 million) and $58,640 (₦27.2 million), respectively. 

The 4xe-exclusive High Altitude is the most expensive model at $68,790 (₦31,919 million), and comes with features such as a full-time transfer case, 20-inch aluminum wheels with 32-inch tires, a built-in front camera for off-roading, 12-way powered front seats, and a powered retracting roof. 

The Rubicon and the new Rubicon X are the top-of-the-line models, priced at $62,380 (₦28.9 million) and $70,880 (₦33 million), respectively. Jeep has announced that the 2024 Wrangler will start arriving at dealerships in the summer.
